Button Gets Data Pipelines to Launch New Brands

Read Time 1 mins | Written by: Cole

Button powers mobile commerce for major brands and publishers like Grubhub, Uber, and Rakuten via a single platform. Publishers and brands use Button’s one-tap buttons to interact with consumers where interest is the highest.

Button needed new data pipelines so that they could launch new brands on their platform. We assembled a team of data experts and got to work.

“The Codingscape team accommodated timeline and scope changes to ensure we hit our deadlines and project needs.  They were a pleasure to work with.”  Harvey Huynh, Group Project Manager

Two Codingscape Golang developers worked with Button’s product owner. We ported existing pipelines and implemented new ones onto Button’s internal framework. Button’s code standards were followed — including code style, architecture, testing, and monitoring requirements.

We validated functionality with the Button team by running each pipeline against historical order data and followed data pipeline best practices such as validating output against input.

Our engineers plugged directly into Button’s existing engineering structure and provided feedback to the owner via standups, Pull Requests, and code reviews.

Button had a tight deadline for the completion of this project. Our engineers worked directly with the project team at Button and delivered on time while maintaining best practices and adhering to Button’s code standards.
