Codingscape at CascadiaJS 2024

CascadiaJS is the place for the Javascript community to connect in the Pacific Northwest. For the last 10 years, this conference has given developers a platform to connect, learn, and share their knowledge.

Codingscape is a sponsor and will be exhibiting this year. We would love to see you there!

What to expect at CascadiaJS 2024

  • 20+ awesome speakers: We are being joined by a wonderful line-up of speakers covering everything from the latest in the web/JS to building with AI.
  • Hands-on workshops: Running parallel to the talks, there will be hands-on workshops to choose from if you care to roll-up your sleeves and do some coding.
  • Outdoor activities: On the Saturday after the conference, we're going to organize some activities so that folks can explore the Seattle area, get some fresh air and have some fun!
  • Job fair: After the talks and workshops on Day One, we are hosting a Job Fair to connect folks to great companies that are hiring!
  • Startup fair: After talks and workshops on Day Two, we are hosting a Startup Fair to showcase exciting, new developer and AI tools!

Where and when is CascadiaJS?

CascadiaJS is back in Seattle this year at the historic Town Hall venue. Town Hall Seattle is a landmark historic building located within walking distance of Downtown and Capitol Hill. It's where CascadiaJS 2019 happened and we’re all excited to be back.

Take a look at the schedule

There are three main tracks this year – Tak, Hallway, and Workshop. Each of these is a lot like it sounds. The Talk track happens in the Great Hall and is where you’ll see great presentations like How to Navigate Emerging AI-Driven Security.

You can find Codingscape team in the Main Lobby for the Hallway track connecting with devs and hanging around the Video Selfie Booth. Come say hello! We’d love to talk with you.

The Workshop track is a learning-focused set of workshops like:

From “its broken” to “fix is out”: "Something is broken": are hopefully words you never have to hear from your users. Even worse is when you don’t know how to fix that “something”. Join this workshop to learn how to make sure users are heard, alerts are alerting, and priorities are prioritized…

Building a GenAI enabled web experience: AI is slowly eating the world. In this hands-on workshop, we will explore vector databases, embeddings, RAG, and more to understand how we can practically use GenAI in the workplace.
